The Passage
The Passage una rappresentazione in chiave iconografica che narra le tracce indelebili del passaggio di antiche civiltà culla delle nostre radici.
Attraverso l’utilizzo quasi pittorico dei toni del bianco e nero con le infinite sfumature di grigio, le scene diventano evocative di atmosfere antiche.
Questo progetto è frutto del lavoro di diversi anni, e raggruppa un corpus di opere che rimanda ad un’estesa meditazione sul trascorrere del tempo e sulla storia della terra e delle civiltà che la hanno abitata.
Testimonianza dello scorrere del tempo, anche attraverso la distruzione e la perdita avvenuta nel corso dei secoli a causa dell’uomo o degli eventi catastrofici che ciclicamente modificano la Terra.
Un vasto progetto fotografico di respiro internazionale che comprende importanti siti archeologici presenti nel Mondo, da Roma, a Paestum, Valle dei Templi, Giordania, Indonesia, Thailandia, Cina, Cambogia, Myanmar ed altri, a testimonianza del passaggio di importanti civiltà.

Through the almost painterly use of black and white tones with infinite shades of gray, the scenes become evocative of ancient atmospheres.
This project is the fruit of several years of work, and brings together a body of work that evokes an extended meditation on the passage of time and the history of the earth and the civilizations that have inhabited it.
A testimony to the passage of time, even by the destruction and loss that have occurred over the centuries due to human activity or the catastrophic events that cyclically alter the Earth.
